Author on the road again

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

Book events start up again in January with Alexandria, VA Public Library, Duncan Branch. Trying to sell out hard cover edition before paperback is released in March.
In February I’m off to sunny Florida (writer’s retreat) to finish the next book, but will do some Tampa area events, starting with their public library on February 19. Here’s the link: http://www.hcplc.org/hcplc/happenings/branch/JBK.pdf.

Any other groups interested in the vaccine controversy’s Erin Brockovich, email me at editmore@hotmail.com and I’ll be glad to come and speak about White Lies, and related vaccine issues as well as the author track in today’s complicated publishing world.

Bat Segundo interviews

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

Just discovered, in one of my middle of the night waking spells, the interviews of Bat Segundo.
Check it out, writers and readers alike: www.edrants.com/segundo/ .
The list of authors is impressive, the questions reveal how well read he is, and how well researched his preparation is.
And where else would you read that Roy Kesey says commas look like flies and he doesn’t want insects in his writing. Dashes, on the other hand, shoot you into the work.

Hoorah for the Internet. And thank you Bat Segundo for talking to people like Dan Wickett and other non-traditional avenues for writers.
